I pushed a fix to http://git.debian.org/?p=collab-
maint/valgrind.git;a=commit;h=8ae28fc which will be included in the next
Debian upload and subsequent Ubuntu sync.

Bug description:
  The valgrind wrapper script doesn't quote $LD_LIBRARY_PATH, so spaces
  in paths cause it to crash:

  [mascdman at home /tmp] export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/Library\ Name
  [mascdman at home /tmp] valgrind ./program
  export: 18: Name:/usr/lib/debug: bad variable name
  [mascdman at home /tmp]
