I have experienced this on my newly built desktop PC with the Ubuntu
12.04.1 64-bit live-cd, so just set it to also affect me.

Title:
Unclear which part of disk will be allocated to Ubuntu when installing
  alongside Windows

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When installing Ubuntu alongside Windows, there is a step of the install asking to "Allocate drive space by dragging the divider below".
You are presented with two sections but it's unclear which one contains Windows and which one is going to contain Ubuntu.
