Bug description:
  After booting the install DVD there is a purple screen for some
  seconds and then there is only a black screen forever. Tested it with
  DVD and USB stick.

  Hardware: Acer TM8372TG-354G64Mnbb
  Ubuntu 12.10 64 bit Desktop version
