Title:
'net usershare' returned error 255: net usershare add: cannot convert
name "Everyone" to a SID. Invalid parameter.

Status in “samba” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: samba

I have enabled sharing via Samba in System/Administration but the
Summary message appears when I try to share the same folders right-
clicking and choosing Sharing Options from the drop down menu.

I have four computers: two desktops connected by ethernet, and a
wireless laptop and netbook. The desktops 'talk' to each other but the
  two on wireless do not.

Firestarter has all four domains registered as safe as well as Samba
and Cups, although printing is not usually a problem; wired or
  wireless.

Currently both the laptop and main desktop are running Lucid with the
other two on Karmic; all up to date.
