You can fix the problem by removing adobe-flashplugin then try the
upgrade again.

Title:
Cannot upgradeUbuntu software
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I aam trying to upgrade from Ubuntu 11.10 to 12.04. When I run the
update manager, I get an error stating that Ubuntu cannot calculate
the upgrade. The details say I need to add an update to Firefox, but
when I go into the update manager and click 'check' the same 'cannot
calculate upgrade' error pops up. Can anyone help me get around this
so I can upgrade?
Thanks a million!
