Hello melchiaros,
I downloaded the latest build the way you suggested.
And on entering a live session, I got this prompt both on VMWare Player and VirtualBox.
So, I'm setting the status back to 'new'.
About 'LiveMediaBuild: Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" - Alpha i386 (20120803.1)' I guess the number 20120803 stands for August 3, 2012. I'm attaching a new screenshot of part of the details of the report that apport generated.

** Changed in: casper (Ubuntu)
       Status: Incomplete => New
