Title:
dbus stopped running no programs have access to it

Status in “dbus” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Shortly after adding the PPA for this https://launchpad.net/~nathan-
renniewaldock/+archive/xbmc-nightly and upgrading the software it
crashed so I ran update-manager -s via yakuake terminal session
disabled the binary and source re-enabled the old one clicked on check
and it froze on me. I hit f12 to bring up my terminal and I noticed a
message saying update-manager cannot connect to dbus.
