  ACPI external monitor switch does not work anymore

Status in “acpi-support” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  The "fn-f7" key combination worked until friday, aug 3 2012. After an
  upgrade that somehow erased xorg, the functionality is gone. The
  package acpi-support is still installed though.
