As this bug is now two years old, affected no-one else, is filed against
Gnome 2 and a version of Ubuntu that is no longer supported, I'm marking
my own bug invalid.

** Changed in: vim (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Incomplete

  Switching between six tabs with two containing changed files.
  Trying to find the missing files by looking at the remaining open tabs resulted in a total crash.
