Title:
12.04 beta2 upgrade fails with Unauthenticated packages

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Tried upgrading with do-release-upgrade -d and update-manager -d and I
get an error about authenticating some packages, but it appears like
it is the whole list of Packages. This is an old laptop running 11.10
lubuntu. /var/log/dist-upgrade/main.log attached. I am using approx
on a 11.10 machine to lessen our downloading.

  Calculating the changes

  Error authenticating some packages

It was not possible to authenticate some packages. This may be a
transient network problem. You may want to try again later. See below
for a list of unauthenticated packages.

Once I changed the sources.list to not use the approx proxy, it appears to be working.
