  Installer froze due to no space left on device

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I had Ubuntu 11.10 on a 6GB disk partitioned by Ubuntu.

  After everything was downloaded the installer froze due to various
  disk space errors (see installer screenshot).
