Using the image from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily/current/
and these instructions
http://testcases.qa.ubuntu.com/Install/AlternateResize  Everything
appears to work OK on the automatic/50% resize.

  20120423.1 Alternate PowerPC ISO image cannot resize partition

Status in “debian-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  The 20120423.1 image comes up with the error:

  "Partition disks
  Resize operation failure
  An error occurred while writing the changes to the storage devices.
  The resize operation has been aborted."

  Steps:

  1. Download image: http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/214/builds/15996/downloads
  2. Verify MD5 checksum
  3. Burn image to CD
  4. Verify CD
  5. Begin install and try to resize

  Tried on two different media.
