Bug can only be seen in Unity 3D. Unity 2D behaves differently: text in
dash input field is cleared whenever you open Dash. Therefore the bug
does not exist in Unity 2D. I think the behavior of Unity 3D is better
(if it would work correctly). If the text is kept in the input field you
can either re-use it (start the last program again) or overwrite it with
something else.

  1. Open Dash with SUPER key
  2. Enter program name, e.g.: 'gedit'
  3. Press RETURN
  4. Gedit starts
  5. Close Gedit
  6. Open Dash again with SUPER key
  7. 'gedit' is still in the input field
  8. Press RETURN
  9. Gedit does NOT start but is expected to start
