This was fixed in ubiquity 2.7.30.

Bug description:
  with todays oneiric daily kubuntu iso:

  From try kubuntu I started ubiquity.   When I select   german,   the
  ubiquity ask all questin, but during the installtions it crashes.
  When one selects englisch the installation is successful.
