  Kubuntu 11.10 beta 2: Error upgrading using muon

Status in “dpkg” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  After having unsuccessfully  tried to perform a complete system
  upgrade using muon in Kubuntu 11.10 beta 1
  (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dpkg/+bug/855793) I tried
  the same in beta 2.

  After installing I clicked on the system notification icon and started
  upgrade using muon update manager.

  The process is stuck in 'Preparing kde-window-manager'.

  In the section below find the last lines of each log file:
