I cannot open update-manager. It comes up and then disappears 5 -6
seconds  later.

  Error refreshing repositories

Status in “synaptic” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Synaptic doesn't refresh the available repositories correctly.

  How to get the bug:

  1. Open Synaptic
  2. Settings -> Repositories
  3. Click on Settings
  4. Mark/unmark "Show disabled software sources"
  5. Click on Close

  The repositories list doesn't refresh correctly. Disabled sources doesn't shows
  or hides correctly.

  This bug is totally reproducible.
