Title:
python-central no longer needed, but not removed

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I just upgraded a server to oneiric and it has no packages left that
depend on python-central, but it was not removed on upgrade. This is
  after the upgrade was complete:

  apt-get remove python-central
  Reading package lists... Done
  Building dependency tree
  Reading state information... Done
The following packages will be REMOVED:
    python-central
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
After this operation, 340 kB disk space will be freed.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]? y
(Reading database ... 76362 files and directories currently installed.)
  Removing python-central ...
  Processing triggers for man-db ...

update-manager should remove python-central/support if they are no
  longer required.
