To me this is a bug, as I have Opera installed so there is already
another web browser available. Surely apt should recognise that Opera is
installed and there is no need for another browser?

Title:
  Removing firefox installs chromium browser.

Status in “apt” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Using an up to date install of Oneiric, removing Firefox automatically
installs Chromium, and vice versa, meaning it is impossible not to
have either one of these packages installed.

Expected behaviour is to remove firefox without installing any
  additional packages.

Reproduced this on every install of Oneiric I have across 3 PCs, and
can be reproduced by simply attempting to remove firefox.
