I had this notification when installing ubuntu on my lenovo netbook currently running windows 7. refer attachment Pic.
The second file was not there so i couldn't atttach.

Bug description:

  I installed ubuntu 11.04 in msi note book. At the end of installation
  installer crashed. But I was able to boot into ubuntu, but I am not
  able to install new packages, synaptic also shows an error.
