here for us to tell what the problem is.

If you still experience the problem, could you please trigger it once, and then attach these files:
/var/log/dpkg.log
/var/log/apthistory.log
/var/log/syslog

  After unsuccessful attempt to install the nautilus-dropbox package I
  was not able to stop the installation process in the Ubuntu Sorftware
  Center. So in order to install other programs, I needed to restart
  system.
