Unable to replicate on hardware with current Kubuntu alternate.  It may
be a virtualbox specific issue.

  Hello,

  Today i was testing the ISO Kubuntu Alternate amd64 [20110920.9] and
  hat install, there was no hard discs detected...

  Tested on virtualbox 4.0.12 64 bits
