Title:
Notify on finished installation if package has long download time

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: software-center

Installing e.g. Eclipse on Ubuntu is, even on a rather fast
connection, quite the time consuming process - and has one checking
back every now and then to determine whether the installation is
  finished.

A much more helpful behaviour by the Software Center, if the estimated
download time is more than 1.5 minutes or so, would be to notify the
user when the application has been installed and is ready to go.

This could be even further enhanced by applying this behaviour only
when the Software Center window is out of focus.
