Bug description:
  TEST CASE:
  1. Select the menu 'View/All software'
  2. Select the category "Accessories"
  3. Note the number of items in the status bar
  4. Select the menu 'View/Canonical-Maintained'

  Result:
  Note that the number of available items has changed but if you open the 'View' menu, 'All Software' is still selected
