Title:
Non-fatal error appeared during upgrade to 11.10b1
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Error msg appeared regarding inability to upgrade ubuntu-desktop and
indicated that upgrade could not continue due to inability to install
required package.
I had previously removed unity, breaking the ubuntu-desktop pkg in
favor of downloading unity-2d. My understanding is that the error is
related to that. The msg made it sound like the entire distribution
upgrade would fail, but it continued after dismissing the error.
