New second row of traceback reads

 File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gi/types.py", line 43, in
function return info.invoke(*args, **kwargs)

so someone has done something I guess.

  update-manager crashed with TypeError in function(): set_text() takes

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  The only thing I did while update manager ran was to click on the link
  for version changes for the package cpp, as they where not available
  yet. Nothing happened and after two more tries I tried the click menu
  alternative to copy the link. It was about then apport showed up.
