Title:
update-manager crashed with TypeError in confirmChanges():
glib.markup_escape_text() takes at most 1 argument (2 given)

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Update Manager crashed when first logging in to Ubuntu.

  We also need:
  1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu
  Description:	Ubuntu oneiric (development branch)
  Release:	11.10

  2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname' or by checking in Software Center
  update-manager:
    Installed: 1:0.152.17
    Candidate: 1:0.152.17
    Version table:
   *** 1:0.152.17 0
          500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main i386 Packages
          100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

  3) What you expected to happen
Update manager to tell me if updates were available. (It was running on login, I had not manually run it)

  4) What happened instead
  I got an error report.
