  Auto-start never counts down

Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  This doesn't happen all the time, but I've seen it at least once.
  With today's Oneiric updates, once you get to the grub screen, the
  timer never counts down from 10s so you never get an auto-start.
  However, you can hit Return to force the selection and get things
  going.
