Title:
  Synaptic doesn't update history after package installation

Status in “synaptic” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: synaptic

  Reproducable.
  Update through update-manager.
  Open Synaptic, reload package list, review file -> history.
  Result: Recent updated packages aren't displayed.
  Tested four times: Close Synaptic, reopen, reload, history wasn't updated.

  Open Software-Center -> history.
  Result: Recent updated packages are listed.

  ## Since I suspend (uptime 19 days), I'll check tomorrow if Synaptic history is updated.
  ## Edit: Due to that I couldn't switch back to desktop from tty I had to reboot and did test Synaptic.
  Synaptic history was unchanged regarding recent updates.
  Removed some and installed one package, which were displayed right away in history. But updates still aren't displayed. (screenshot -history-2)
