This bug is definitely not fixed. Recently installed 11.10 beta 1, and
immediately updated and updated everything, as that's my usual course of
action when installing Ubuntu. I run apt-get update, apt-get upgrade,
and apt-get dist-upgrade, nothing new to be updated or upgraded. My
Ubuntu Software Center version is 4.1.22, and it just crashed and
Firefox opened and took me to this page.

I'd be more than willing to provide any additional information, but just
wanted to let whoever made the last commit and close this bug report,
that it is infact, NOT fixed.

Bug description:
  Updated to latest 11.10 (daily updates), and then when i wanted to
  install skype, i opened the deb in usc and then it crashed. I dont
  remember using USC recently, but after that i am not able to open USC
  at all.
