Also seeing this message on apt-get update,  nothing in logs; I wonder
if this is an unknown return value per this comment in another bug,

  Confirmed

Bug description:
  "Error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Launch helper
  exited with unknown return code 127"

  Getting the above message after every apt-get. What is it and how do I
  fix? apt-get is updating and upgrading but I have not yet been able to
  resolve the above error.

  I am running Ubuntu oneiric (developmental branch) release 11.10,
  3.0.0-10-generic #16-Ubuntu SMP kernel.
