Oneiric 64bit, Beta 1 installation problems: I tried installing beta1 twice and on each installation the installer window does not show complete text and graphics within. It has a pinkish area at the top and bottom where information is typically displayed but the main info area inside has the installation steps, although the top and bottom panels of the installer window contains critical info too. About 80 percent through I’m guessing since the status cannot be displayed the installation stalls and no further progress is seen. I expanded the text window at the bottom and noted what looks like a term. and I seen these two outputs: (date), Ubuntu kernel:E89.815001] dconf-service[3594] trap int3 ip:7 f0b00930803 sp: 7fff03694260 error:0 and the other is: ubiquity 2.7.24 (ubiq:3075); Pango warning**:error opening config file /root/.pangorc’: permission denied.
My system: Athlon X2 (245)proc and a Gigabyte M68M-S2p mobo.

** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
