[Bug 845039] [NEW] Ubuntu Studio 11.04 installer keyboard problem

Public bug reported:

Usb keyboard and mouse stop working during the install process
immediately following the main menu screen. Did not have a problem
installing Maveric or Lucid on the same computer. ASUS desktop mini only
uses usb, so I can not plug a different type of keyboard in to it. I
have tried starting the installer with all of the menu options as
suggested in bug reports for earlier distribution with no change in
outcome.
