You likely have lines in your /etc/apt/sources.list file mentioning
cdrom or Maverick Meerkat in them. Please disable these by adding # in
front of the line or deleting the line and then you should be able to
upgrade.

Bug description:
For some reason my computer goes into a update panic half way through
checking its update im trying to update my distro to 11.10
the error says
Failed to download repository information
Check your Internet connection.
