[Bug 834327] Re: Crashed while attempting to upgrade via update manager.

This problem was "fixed" by running

     sudo apt-get install -f

 I was not aware of the fix until I tried running the Update Manager
from the GNome3 desktop.  I am not sure why running Update Manager in
Unity failed to suggest the above action.
