Title:
  missing initrd entries in /boot/grub/menu.lst

Status in “initramfs-tools” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

If kernel 2.6.27 was installed manually on 8.04 the update to 8.10 results in an invalid menu.lst
The initrd lines for some 2.6.27 kernels are missing in menu.lst and the symbolic link /boot/vmlinuz is set to the manually installed (old) kernel.
