I did check more careful in the Synapitic package Manager and yes I did
find it. I did remove the XBMC repository. So if the message had said
check the Synapitic package Manager i would not have had to file a
design bug or check fourms. So yes not a bug but a lack of data. Case
closed.

Title:
warning about team-xbmc/ppa
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I have a warning pop up on the task bar that says this.
W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/team-xbmc/ppa/ubuntu/dists/natty/main/binary-amd64/Packages 404 Not Found
, E:Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
I look in the software center to find the ppa package and it is not even installed . why does it keep warning about this if it is not intstalled i find it to be annoying to be bugged about something i can not even find ?
