Public bug reported:

software-center trunk r2261, Ubuntu 11.10 beta 1

1. Accidentally resize the USC window as small as possible.

What happens: The window ends up 138 pixels wide and 232 pixels high.

What should happen: The window is always wide enough to show all the
navigation buttons and at least a small search field.

This is a recent regression.

** Affects: software-center (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Low
         Status: New
