I have absolutely no idea.  It has to do with
debian/libssl1.0.0.symbols.  I'm not much of a programmer.

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS
  openssl 1.0.0d-2ubuntu2

  The amd64 builds fine but the i386 does not with this error:
