Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your
description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful
to read "How to report bugs effectively"
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful
if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.
By reading syslog it seems you ran out of space and thats why it crashed. Are you sure you're installing it on the "Slave" disk?
I think you need to select manual partitioning/advanced partitioning when installing to select another disk.
We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures
At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
Thanks!

Title:
ubuntu 11.04 installation crashed
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I was installing Ubuntu 11.04 on my window XP desktop. The system has 2 disk drives. The first disk on which resides windows does not have sufficient space for Ubuntu but the slave disk 15GB is all free. I want to choose between either OS system at boot time but I guess this option on the Ubuntu main menu ignores the slave disk during the installation process.
I don't know how to attach 2 files to this report. It only allows me to attach 1 file.
