[Bug 884302] Re: add-apt-repository not working in ubuntu 11.10

Internet connection is fine. I can run "sudo apt-get update" even I can
install any packages through command line as well, without any problem.
In fact manually I can add repository through synaptic package manager
and install softwares. However, when I am trying to add any repository
through command line, it gives similar out put.

  Whenever I tried to add some ppa repository through command line e.g. 
  sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/gnome3
  it gives me the following output.
