I've seen the following lines in your installation log:
Oct 30 11:20:44 ubuntu ubiquity: Unpacking libreoffice-help-en-gb (from .../libreoffice-help-en-gb_1%3a3.4.3-1ubuntu1_all.deb) ...
Oct 30 11:20:45 ubuntu ubiquity: xz:
Oct 30 11:20:45 ubuntu ubiquity: (stdin): Compressed data is corrupt
Since the "libreoffice-help-en-gb" has been downloaded from the Internet during installation, I suspect the package corrupted during the download. Could you please try to install Ubuntu again (if the installation did not complete)? Also, could you check if the ISO file you downloaded is not corrupt as well (see <https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM>)? Thanks.
