[Bug 819904] Re: Shutdown doesn't works in live session

I have a similar problem. I upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10 and now the
shutdown button in the top right menu does not work anymore. Right now,
instead of shutting the system down, it just logs me out. After that, if
I try to shutdown in the login screen, nothing happens. So, in the end,
I need to use the command line to shut the system down.

Is there any file that contains the commands invoked when I click on an
entry in the top right menu? I could try to have a look there and see if
something is wrong.

Thanks!
