$ dpkg -S /usr/lib/pango/1.6.0/modules/pango-basic-fc.so
dpkg-query: no path found matching pattern
/usr/lib/pango/1.6.0/modules/pango-basic-fc.so

So, should I remove the files manually from my system?

Title:
  Messages in plymouth splash screen only contain square brackets

Status in “plymouth” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  If I boot my Oneiric install, sometimes a message (For example, a
  message is shown during a fsck disk check) is shown/ However, I cannot
  read the message as there are only square brackets shown (or maybe
  little squares).

  I think I miss some font, but I don't know which one (and maybe it is
  caused by something else). I'm running Oneiric 64 bit, with fglrx
  drivers. The install is an upgrade from 11.04.
