Title:
  Ubuntu.LucidLynx.x64::UpdateManager; After partially upgrade the main
  menu shows doubled items/shortcuts

Status in Update Manager:
  Invalid
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

  After using partially upgrade from update manager right after
  installing Ubuntu Lucid Lynx x64 (AMD 64) via alternate install on
  compactflash with lvm the menu items in main menu (System) doubled up.

   Default PrinterDisplay
   IBUS Preferences

   Keyboard Shortcuts

  .Administration:

  Due to the fact that these double links seem to make path to old and
  new versions in parallel i choose to mark it as security issue. The
  Computer Janitor doesn't recognize these double links. But, if you
  start the (read from top to bottom) doubled applications, you can get
  full freeze of system in effect; i tried to start Synaptic Package
  Manager on the first link and it ends in full freeze of the whole
  system;

  Addendum:

  after twice rebooting (after that 4s coldshut) the doubled menu items are gone;
  and the system runs with correct acpi and cpu idle (which was not given before), just telling this in case there are some weird dependencies
