Bug description:
Binary package hint: update-manager
After using partially upgrade from update manager right after
installing Ubuntu Lucid Lynx x64 (AMD 64) via alternate install on
compactflash with lvm the menu items in main menu (System) doubled up.

Due to the fact that these double links seem to make path to old and
new versions in parallel i choose to mark it as security issue. The
Computer Janitor doesn't recognize these double links. But, if you
start the (read from top to bottom) doubled applications, you can get
full freeze of system in effect; i tried to start Synaptic Package
Manager on the first link and it ends in full freeze of the whole
system;
Addendum:
after twice rebooting (after that 4s coldshut) the doubled menu items are gone;
and the system runs with correct acpi and cpu idle (which was not given before), just telling this in case there are some weird dependencies
