Title:
Booting Karmic LiveCD from pxe/nfs server is asking for name of medium

Status in “casper” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: casper

I had working Jaunty PXE/nfs boot server which I replaced with a few
changes with Karmic alpha 5. It boots without much problems when I
changed initrd extension to lz from gz in boot entry.

Only problem is that boot stops in middle and is asking for name of
medium where we are booting. Example given in prompt is Debian install
CD name. Just pressing enter doesn't skip the question and I have to
at least type one letter to it to continue the boot.

So boot system should detect the nfs bootand not to ask for CD name in
that case when it fails to get it from "device".

Sorry if this goes to wrong package because I couldn't know which
package exactly was causing the prompt to appear.
