[Bug 880510] [NEW] oneiric installer doesn't work in close lan and with nfsroot

Public bug reported:

The oneiric installer on the livecd refuses to work in a closed LAN
environment. Upon initializing, the installer does a test to see if it
can reach an outside host and that fails because it's on a closed LAN
and refuses to allow the installation to continue due to that. The apt
sources list in the live environment have already been changed to point
to a local server however.

Additionally, I want to upgrade an NFS root which I have mounted on
/target before starting the ubiquity installer. But again, the
installer prevents me from upgrading it because it can't find any local
disk. There is none. The system is on an NFSroot (which has already
been mounted and is ready for upgrading.
