You will need to provide much more information if you expect anything
out of this report, and some copy/paste log of the errors.

Are you running your upgrade as root? What does "sudo dpkg --configure
-a" give?

Bug description:
  Unable to install updates; package system broken; unmet dependcies
  {nautilus}; apt-get install -f  does not work  - does not open
  var/lib/dpkg/lock  13: permission denied. This results from 11.04 to
  12.04 upgrade system on 11.10.
