Bug description:
  whenever I try to install the new version 11.10 it always fails about 1/2 way through.
  and also, I just installed 11.04 about 1 month ago and the Libre Office stuff all stopped working, the word processor, the spreadsheet, all of it.
  so i figured that if i installed 11.10, then it would be fine and sure enough it does not install.
