Thanks very much, as i suffer from RSI it was not as big issue with
synaptic, as it has very good accessibility features, but now that
update manager and USC are going to substitute it in favor of getting
its features, i assume making update manager more accessible should
begin having more priority.

Title:
Accesibility: Make update list sortable and add option to
select/deselect all like in other update managers or synaptic

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Now that synaptic is gone from ubuntu, we need a more accessible way
to manage updates. Thus some important synaptic features need to be
  brought back.

  A) Sorting
Sorting was a very important accessibility feature in synaptic and is also available in almost every other major OS ranging from mint update, Mac Os updater to Windows Update, etc.

  B) select/deselect ALL (which also was a feature of synaptic)

In contrast ubuntu update manager is the least accessible and trying to manage updates with it can cause RSI (Repetitive strain injury).
