Bug description:
  Upgrade failed and system left somewhat in unusable state. For example
  synaptic does not start (no messages).

  This is the last error from main.log:

  ERROR found exception: 'E:Could not perform immediate configuration on
  'libgd-gd2-perl'. Please see man 5 apt.conf under APT::Immediate-
  Configure for details. (2)'
